Smartedge Manufacturing Ltd

Smartedge is manufactured from heavy duty 2mm thick polypropylene with a unique patented A-frame system which allows the grass on the top of the edge to grow through and bind the Smartedge to the ground. The product, when installed, is strong enough to drive over with small garden tractors – as can been seen on the case studies page. The Head Gardener of Knebworth House states that they drove a small tractor with a trailer full of water butts over the Smartedge and there was no buckling or bending of the product at all.

Smartedge is designed to be simply installed in both small and large gardens with stunning results.

The product is light in weight, very weather and stain resistant and non-toxic. Polypropylene is recyclable.
