ACO Q-Brake Vortex is a horizontal vortex flow control unit for regulating stormwater discharge to prevent downstream flooding. Made from grade 304 stainless steel, it is self-activating, low-maintenance, and custom-built to suit site-specific flow rates from 2–100 l/s and design heads up to 3m. Suitable for new and retrofit drainage schemes, it is approved by multiple UK water authorities.
