Testing
It is part of the Anti Terra range, which has been successfully crash-tested in accordance with IWA 14, stopping 7.2t travelling at 80kph (50mph).
The test resulted in the vehicle being stopped with zero penetration whilst remaining fully functional after impact illustrating the outstanding protection the blocker can provide from the threat of VBIED’s (vehicle borne improvised explosive devices).
Installation
With an embedment depth of only 300mm required, the Shallow HVM Blocker offers protection to sites where minimal foundation depths are available. The footprint and weight has been reduced by approximately 60% from its predecessor.
The lightweight top plate is finished with an anti-skid resistant treatment which has been fully tested by Frontier Pitts in collaboration with the UK Government under laboratory conditions for at least 12 months.
