Urbancrete supplied custom concrete outdoor seating and games tables for the new student accommodation block at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

An off-cream coloured riverbed aggregate was used in exposed polished concrete to create a cohesive scheme of planter walls, integrated linear benches and games tables. The concrete benches were topped with FSC-certified Cumaru hardwood to provide comfortable, sustainable seating.

Urbancrete was involved from the planning stage, working closely with the architects at Mitchell and Associates to design a bespoke concrete solution that aligned with their vision. They also managed the transportation and installation of all products on-site.
