Mettro - timber and steel street furniture range

Mettro has been developed to reduce street clutter and create a unified appearance for outdoor spaces and includes products ranging from benches to bins and pergolas to cycle stands. The elegantly proportioned and timeless design works perfectly in both contemporary and traditional settings.

Advantages

Using consistently-sized sections of metal and timber in different layouts reduces costs, speeds up delivery times, and enhances a space all at the same time. Each item can be customised to make the best of an outdoor space.

Sustainability

All timber is FSC, PEFC or GiB certified ensuring traceability right back to the grower. Timber stores approximately half its weight as carbon, and a species such as Iroko is capable of lasting above ground for 50 years. It is classified as a Naturally Very Durable Hardwood and is regularly used in high-quality street furniture.

All metal is galvanised and powder coated for maximum durability even in harsh environments.

Installation

Designed for installation on a flat surface. Instructions are included on the specification sheets with each product. Hornbeck can arrange installation if required.
