Phi Group's Southern office has completed works for I K Crowle Construction Ltd at the Duchy Hospital in Truro.
A Permacrib timber crib retaining wall was used to facilitate the extension of a car park to cater for increased patient demand. A complete design, supply and installation service was provided using the BBA-certified Permacrib timber crib system. It was chosen for speed of construction, design life, aesthetic values and cost effectiveness.
The finished wall is 100m long, retains up to 4.3m, and has a face area of 300m2.
