Merton court school is a private junior school located in Sidcup Kent; they have been customers of Active Leisure Contracts since they built their original artificial grass MUGA pitch in 2006.

The original pitch proved so successful for football, netball, hockey, and general play use that in 2019 they asked Active Leisure to construct an additional pitch alongside the original on a design and build basis.

The existing area was a tarmac playground with quite a distinct fall from end to end, the works included the importation of porous fill and levelling to achieve the required levels, supply and install of heavy-duty sports rebound fencing, supply, and installation of sports shock-pad and 13mm curl piled ALC multisport artificial grass with permanent inlaid lines for mini tennis, netball and five aside.

This new pitch proved so popular that Active Leisure were then commissioned to replace the fencing and surfacing on the original pitch, with a matching fence and artificial grass surface, which was completed in 2020.
