Zenith Structures was contacted by TDA Interiors of London to quote for several canopies for outside a café at Cranfield University Technology Park.
Solution
Ian Manners of Zenith quoted for four 6 x 6m Vela 150 sail canopies. After consideration, TDA’s client opted for two canopies with black framework and beige PVC.
The canopies were installed in December 2022 and, after TDA also carried out a refurbishment of the café, it became fully operational in January 2023.
About Vela 150
The Vela 150 has wind and snow loadings to UK Building Regulations. The structures are manufactured with galvanised steel, powder-coated in a choice of colours from Zenith’s standard range. The canopies are made in 650gsm PVC and are fire-retardant, 100% waterproof, and have a PVDF varnished exterior coating, prolonging the lifespan of the canopy and ensuring easy cleaning. They also provide 100% protection from harmful UVA and UVB radiation.
