Sustainable street furniture and raised planter manufacturer, WoodBlocX Landscaping has recently acquired new premises, won a prestigious award and refreshed its website.
In April, the company was honoured with a Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in the International Trade category for demonstrating three consecutive years of overseas growth, supplying its unique modular system to projects and customers in 10 European countries and counting.
The significant growth WoodBlocX has experienced led the company to acquire a second site close to its original base in the Scottish Highlands, enabling the business, which also has a successful retail division, to increase its production and warehousing capabilities.
In addition, the company’s website has undergone a complete refresh to better showcase the versatile and adaptable timber system to landscape architects and specifiers. The site will be a hub for technical information covering the modular system, new case studies highlighting the many different applications including regeneration, residential, healthcare, hospitality, retail, parks, gardens and more. Visitors can learn about the limitless design possibilities that WoodBlocX offers, plus find out about the company’s free design service, which will take existing plans and basic measurements and transform them into full design proposals and detailed pricing.
Dan McLearnon, business development manager at WoodBlocX said: “The last 12 months have been incredibly exciting for the business. The modular nature of WoodBlocX makes it a brilliant solution for street furniture, raised planters and retaining walls, plus it has the added benefit of being sustainable, long-lasting and quick and easy to build which can help save significant costs of projects. Our CAD designers have the ability to transform any design, whether it's brand new or a retrofit, into a WoodBlocX structure using our tailored software working to a swift turnaround time.”
