Tees Bay Retail Park, located on the outskirts of Hartlepool, has a varied and extensive range of shops and eateries.
The client brief was to create a safe environment for pedestrians when walking around the site, plus to provide cycle parking for visitors and employees.
To fulfil the client’s needs for the scheme, Artform had to provide products that worked functionally, durably and - very importantly - aesthetically.
To blend in with existing corten weathered steel facades, the specification strictly had to follow the same material palette to offer unity to the site. Artform’s unique maturation process enables products to arrive on site completely weathered, ensuring the natural beauty of the corten is evident from the start.
Hesperia and Moka bollards, plus Guardia cycle stands were specified by the client and provided the co-ordinated finish, durability and ultimate protection that the client wanted, plus the natural weathering characteristics of corten ensure the products withstand the harsh UK winters and North Sea coastal environment.
