Context

Paddock Fencing was approached by Richard Wallden of Haskett Ltd to provide fencing along the line of a histoirc bridge over a moat, as part of a repair project.

Project details

Due to the foundations of the bridge being in disrepair, Paddock Fencing had to design a specific foot type for the fencing and posts. The curvature of the bridge was also completely bespoke, so the continuous estate fencing had to be assembled on site. Each length had to be cut and welded, with all radiuses perfect to make the fence follow the centre line of the raised wall. Special fixings were used because of the traditional bricks that were used in the wall's construction. The bricks were extremely wet, so care had to be taken not to damage them.
