Context

Fitzpatrick Woolmer provided a range of interpretation signs for a picnic site at Blue Bell Hill in Kent.

Kent Wildlife Trust wanted to replace several picnic tables throughout the site that had suffered damage from disposable barbeques and was looking for a more robust solution, but with a rustic finish.

Work undertaken

By using HPL panels for table tops, colourful, interpretive images of flora and fauna found in the area could be displayed whilst also offering a heat-, scratch- and graffiti-resistant finish to the rustic oak picnic tables.

Other areas of Blue Bell Hill picnic site were given a refresh, with a new welcome sign with interchangeable time slat and replacement interpretation panel. All printed panels have a 10-year lightfastness guarantee and are fully sealed to prevent tampering.
