The B-Cycle bench/bike rack is made in 60/10-thick steel. The 1200×500mm seat is made in 40mm-thick exotic hardwood, fixed to the structure in steel through specific screws. Through the laser-cut section on the structure of the seat a bike rack, provided with 2 plates 60/10 thickness, with a hole in the middle of 26mm dia to hook the bike, is created. The feet of the bench are created from the same load-bearing structure, through two 90° folds on the extremities of the structure, leading to 2 profiles 50mm deep, each one with 2 holes of 11mm diameter for the fixing to the ground through specific bolts (not provided).
For the realisation of this product, steel EN10111DD11 is used and later treated with a cycle of sandblasting, cataphoresis and powder coating. This process is meant to guarantee the protection of the painted products, in an environment of C4 corrosion class, as requested by the UNI regulations EN ISO 12944-2. The products are eventually polyester powder-coated with AkzoNobel RAL colours at choice.
The wood used is either Iroko or Okume, treated with natural, water-repellent, UV ray resistant oils.
