RSFA18 are Sewers for Adoption compliant rectangular precast concrete headwalls for outfalls discharging into ponds, swales, ditches beaches and rivers. RSFA precast headwalls come with the option of two thicknesses of toe, 300mm and 500mm, each of which is available in three depths.
Althon manufactures RSFA18 precast headwalls with three different wall profiles to suit the gradient of the bank as follows 1:1 slope, 1:2 slope and 1:3 slope. RSFA precast concrete headwalls are typically supplied complete with Kee Klamp® Handrail to the back wall and horizontal sections of the wing walls, a galvanised steel access ladder and a self-closing gate with padlock facility above.
The backwall of the headwall can accommodate a correctly sized Sewers for Adoption compliant hinged outfall safety grille. Althon RSFA18 precast headwalls are manufactured in accordance with Severn Trent Water Standard detail STD6002 for pipework up to 450mm. All RSFA Headwalls are cast with the opening in the back wall to suit the size and type of pipe being used at the invert level required.
