Requirement

Having previously installed standard wall-mounted timber benches, Benchmark was asked to manufacture two further bespoke hardwood benches for a quiet corner of this new tower block.

Work undertaken

Firstly, a small site survey was carried out to establish the required angles and depths for the benches.

Benchmark can use its simple subframe system to incorporate a varied range of materials that can be mounted on an existing concrete wall. FSC iroko hardwood was specified for this particular project to match benches supplied previously.

Options

Any width or length can be produced, and it can be curved to the required radius. Timber can be placed both longitudinally or horizontally depending on the shape required.  Simple returns can also be added to gain either a co-ordinated backrest or lower fascia.

As with all of Benchmark's street furniture, the material specification can be scaled up or down to meet individual budgets.
