CTS manufactured a 5m-wide x 57m-long streel pratt truss cycle / access bridge for the Gran Union Canal at Charter Street, Bedford. This posed a problem at CTS as the factory door wasn't wide enough to get the 5m-wide bridge out so it had to be widened during manufacture to accommodate the bridge. The bridge was delivered to site in 4 sections for

The bridge was delivered to site in 4 sections for site welding together prior to lifting into place.
