NatraTex bonded aggregate path at Cheltenham Racecourse
Cheltenham Racecourse needed to redevelop a number of areas as part of a £45 million project, including the provision of wheelchair-friendly paths, and the upgrading of existing viewing platforms.
It was important to have the areas ready for the annual Gold Cup festival.
Solution
NatraTex Cotswold® was selected for both the paths and viewing platforms and forms a durable, fully-bonded, buff-coloured natural aggregate surface.
The asphalt course used to create the smooth surfaces reduces the risk of deterioration which would lead to potholes and breakages. On this occasion, it was also selected because it is quick to install compared to other aesthetic surfaces.
