Knot bollards at Whitehaven

Seven nautical knot bollards were created from fabricated mild steel for a harbour-side location in Whitehaven. The bollards stand 1.5m tall and each is made from 3 strands of 35mm round bar twisted to form 7 different knots: Cats Paw Knot; Fishermans Loop Knot; Granny Knot; Larks Head Knot; Mid Shipmans Knot; Weavers Knot; Heaving Line Knot
