38 bespoke Zintec steel planters were contracted to IOTA by Landscape Architects Bowles and Wyer for Northacre Developments, a new-build residential development in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

With dimensions of 900mm (l) x 400mm (w) x 600mm (h), the planters were raised from the ground using braked castors allowing for flexibility with movement and re-distribution. The castors were hidden by removable skirts.
The planters were pre-drilled to accommodate a bespoke irrigation and drainage system.

The conceptual and early stage design of the planters was provided by Bowles and Wyer whilst IOTA provided design detailing and custom features including a powder coated finish from specialists Interpon in their Futura range. Noir 2200 Sable – D2525 – YW360F gave the planters a natural stone appearance.
