The aim of the project was to give Bracknell a lasting legacy from the Olympics and to get young and old all using the same area to play and exercise in.
An inclusive area for able bodied and disabled alike was desired for all to enjoy.
Bracknell Town Council also wanted to include different organisations in the project and this was achieved with the help from the Borough Council and the Bracknell Forest Homes who helped offset the cost of the project.
Proludic was chosen for many reasons, the main one being its enthusiasm and commitment to set out and give this country something to be proud of by leaving a sports legacy for future generations to enjoy and keep fit.
The company involved at the planning stage of the project and gave Bracknell every help and encouragement, and advised the Council on the correct equipment for the site.
Bracknell Town Council commented:
“The over all outcome of the project was a great success the project was started and finished on time. The project was handled from start to finish by Proludic and was managed to a very high standard the response from the company was excellent. The use of different zones have worked very well we have fitness zone which has proven to be very popular for all ages. We also included a sensory garden into the project and this is very well used by everyone. ”
