Fauldhouse in West Lothian has a new Health and Community Centre. At a cost of £5 million it will bring under one roof medical and dental practices, a library, swimming pool, creche and community rooms.
Perimeter protection was required which included gates which would screen certain sensitive areas of the site.
Solution
Lang+Fulton were asked to supply a Palermo perimeter fence with a 43x44mm aperture and several gates to secure the property. The fencing was of varying heights for both wall-mounting and ground fixing. The 2000mm high fencing was supplied with 76mm tubular posts and the 1722mm high fencing was supplied with 50mm tubular posts.
The main entrance gate was made with Palermo infill panels; the other five sets of gates were made with Italia-100 steel louvred panels for the added security of visual screening, which was important around a creche play area.
The fencing and gates were hot-dip galvanized and polyester powder coated in RAL7024.
