Maggy Howarth creates bespoke mosaic garden patios and paths, which encompass intricate geometry, abstract patterns and natural imagery.
The handmade durable paving is suitable for enhancing hard landscaping in private gardens, as well as town centres.
Commissioned exclusively for specific sites, the mosaics are specially chosen to co-ordinate with the nearby house and garden walls, and to reflect local themes and motifs.
Each mosaic slab is approximately 750x750mm, with a 75mm depth and an average weight of 150kg.
Each mosaic is prefabricated in sections at the Cobblestone workshop before being delivered to site. The mosaic slabs are numbered on a site plan to ensure ease of installation. They are bedded on mortar in a prepared area before being grouted.
Maggy Howarth or another Cobblestone craftsman supervises the entire installation.
