Analysis report from 14 July 2011 describes this soil as compliant with BS3882:2007.
"from the soil examination and laboratory analysis, the sample is described as alkaline with fine to medium granualr straucture, The sample contained moderate to high levels of organic matter and manour plan nutrients, particularly phosphorus and potassium.
No significant contamination was found with respect to the parameters determined.
The topsoil represented by this sample would be considered suitable for general landscape purpose, including trees, shrubs and amenity grass, provided the physical condition of the soil is maintained and species tolerant of the alkaline soils are selected for planting.
This multipurpose topsoil is suitable for horticlture and is capable of sustainably supporting grass, trees, shrubs, herbacewous plants and other planting. The phosphorus and patoassium levels was elevated, however this non-compliance would be considered minor and should not adversely affect the function of the topsoil for the majority of general landscape purposes"
