Greenroof shelter |
Handspring Design created a timber-framed green roof shelter for The Conservation Volunteers base at Hollybush Farm in Leeds.
The shelter was designed to fit into a tight courtyard space, and was constructed using a Douglas Fir frame with traditional timber framing joinery including mortise and tenons, scarf joints and braces, all draw doweled. The shelter is finished with a sedum green roof.
