Jupiter Play created a new play area at Oxhey Park, which won the Hertsmere Service to Sport Award just a month after opening. Facilities range from a wheeled sports facility to adventure play and inclusive activities.

The park is suitable for people of all ages and abilities with changing facilities at the café, ramps, improving routes through the park, and play equipment such as an upright swing, basket swing, wheelchair-accessible wheel spin and sensory play equipment.

A new wildflower meadow and trees encourage new habitats for birds, bats, insects and other wild animals. The planting also helps reconnect people to their surrounding environment.

"Since the outbreak of Covid-19 places like this have never been more important, people need places where they can connect with nature, take exercise and also have fun. There is strong evidence that open green spaces have a huge impact on people’s health and well-being. I’m delighted these fantastic, accessible facilities are now open and hope people of all ages enjoy them."
