Requirement

Bishop’s Tachbrook is a growing parish with huge numbers of houses being built in the local area. The new development, Oakley Meadow, has footpath links to the older part of the village, past the Meadow, so the decision was made to renew and replace the existing play equipment and surfacing, at the heart of the parish.

Solution

After researching providers, the playground committee (supported by children from the village, who were some of the key decision-makers!) chose HAGS since the company was able to offer the complete package within their budget. They were also impressed by HAGS' understanding of the project, responsiveness, pragmatism and willingness to find the right solution for them.

Testimonial

Jenny Bevan, Chair of the Playground Committee, was delighted by the service received from Jilly, Area Sales Manager, who worked closely with the parish council to translate its ideas into practical plans. "Jilly was very keen to work to our budget and was very reasonable in her approach to making it go as far as it could. Her ideas of what makes a good playground really helped to guide us in our decision making. She was easy to get hold of, easy to negotiate with, easy to agree with and easy to work with. We knew that the installation would be much less hassle because of her thoroughness and HAGS attention quality."

Jenny and her team were also impressed by Rob, who was responsible for the installation of the site. "Rob kept me informed all along the way. He raised possible issues at the earliest moment and was flexible when we identified new problems. We felt confident they would be resolved in an understanding and timely way and they were...

The quality of the work, the speed of the work, the communication about the work and the overall results of the work were fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a better contractor."
