Through the acquisition of new land, and at 100 acres, Carlton and Oulton Marshes is one of the largest nature reserves in the Broads National Park. Suffolk Wildlife Trust appointed Fitzpatrick Woolmer to develop branded welcome signs, interpretation and wayfinding for this popular attraction near Lowestoft.
The Fitzpatrick Woolmer design team started at ground level to create a unique identity for the site that incorporated the Trust’s new brand and reflected the architectural features of the recently constructed visitor centre. High impact entrance signs welcome visitors at their point of arrival, built using a mixture of hardwoods and metal with sandblasted and lasercut features, creating a visually textured display.
