Context

Visitors to Sadovniki Park, one of the most modern parks in Moscow, are greeted by a range of street furniture and features made by Punto Design in wood and corten steel.

Located along Andropov Avenue opposite the Kolomenskoye museum, the 34.5-hectare park has been refurbished on several occasions since first opening in 1989.

At the centre of the park there's a large dry fountain, while garden terraces are designed for walking and relaxing, with large areas containing a wide range of ornamental plants.

The highlight feature of the park is the redesigned Riga Garden, which has shade canopies made of carved plates, decorative arches, a network of thematic footpaths and comfortable wood and steel benches. It also houses one of the best skate parks in Russia.

Work undertaken

Punto Design undertook the design and production of the street furniture, canopies and corten features for this latest refubishment project.

The company's in-house design team, state-of-the-art production facilities, and ability to deliver excellent value for money were essential in delivering the finished features for the park.
