Harrowden Turf helps raise £1000 for NHS charities

In May our combine contractor, Christmas Hill Farm, wanted to do something special to acknowledge the great work that the NHS is doing to protect and save our lives.

Together we set out to raise money for the NHS by helping to wrap their brand new combine harvester in beautiful rainbows and pledging to donate money to 'NHS Charities Together' for every acre that was harvested by the 'rainbow combine'.

The brand-new shiny combine, plastered with rainbows from local children and topped by a huge thank you to the NHS, looks wonderful and it's now part of the Christmas Hill Farm machinery fleet.

Staff were also encouraged to get involved and sponsor the “rainbow combine” through www.justgiving.com/fundraising/christmashillfarm

Now, four months later, the combine is still harvesting and the project has raised £1000 for the NHS charities.
