The client required a modernisation of the driveway to the front of their home, and a redevelopment of the rear garden. The design needed to complement their stone-built home, which (located in Sudborough, Northamptonshire), and the rear garden needed to provide a tranquil retreat.
The proposed driveway concept presented the client with a clean and modern design which included a radiating Argent light circle that fans out towards a boundary framed in a dark Argent pave. Automated bespoke gates were included in the design scheme, which a local contractor was commissioned to intall on behalf of Timotay Landscapes.
For the rear garden, a contemporary design was used that centres around a bespoke, hardwood pergola, which is positioned in a corner of the garden and accessed via a limestone island over a corten steel water feature. A limestone patio frames the gentle flowing water and continues towards the house. Low level gardening beds, constructed in matching stone to harmonise with the stone property, add further textures and colours to the garden.
