Patcham Infant School
NBB School Shelters were contacted by Patcham Infant School in Brighton to provide an estimate for two shelters and some fencing. The first shelter was to provide cover to the nursery door, and second was a shelter (and fence) for the main entrance of the school. They currently had a timber structure and were looking for something more hardwearing.
We recommended a bespoke wall-attached Winterbourne structure. The main entrance shelter would also be wall-attached and we also advised that 100% recycled plastic fencing would be most suitable.
The shelters were galvanised and powder coated in Blue RAL5002, the surface treatment means that they will last for 25 years life if maintained. The school opted for the 100% recycled plastic fencing, the properties of which mean that it will not require annual upkeep such as sanding, staining or painting, and is also guaranteed for 25 years.
The finished installation has created a functional cover for the nursery, protecting staff, pupils and visitors from adverse weather. The entrance shelter provides a lovely welcome area which will last for many years.
