Artro concrete block paving can adapt its look depending on the colour, laying pattern or jointing material used.

Inspired by traditional European clay pavers, Artro brings the concept right up to date, providing inspirational options for any project.

Its trafficable performance makes it suitable for commercial, city centre or residential schemes. Its advanced PrimeTop surface ensures it retains its original appearance for longer.

Artro draws on a range of laying patterns, jointing materials and colour mixes to create distinctive schemes. Choose from Tobermore’s comprehensive range of paving sets and kerbs to add additional character to each paving scheme.

  • Manufactured to BS EN 1338:2003
  • Surface layer: hard-wearing surface layer with a minimum of 4mm and >350kgs/m3 cement
  • Surface finish: smooth
  • Chamfer: pencil
  • Efflorescence: min 12-hour vapour curing to significantly reduce the possibility of efflorescence
  • Strength: typical tensile splitting strength of >3.6MPa
  • Slip/skid risk: extremely low
  • Installed to (flexibly): BS7533-3-2005
  • nbs: Plus Q24 110; Create 45-20-64/400
  • Applications: refer to relevant part of BS 7533 for correct sub-base design. Available from www.bsigroup.com
  • Energy used: 100% renewable
  • Water used: 100% from Tobermore's rainwater harvesting system and groundwater bore hole
