Work undertaken

The old play area at the Bridge Community Centre, Killyleagh was refurbished by WIcksteed as part of a development project for Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.

Existing items at the site were replaced with exciting new multiplay units including a bespoke Gaheris Castle and a castle-themed Tom Thumb toddler unit. The play value of the space was increased with dynamic play equipment including the Rock ‘n’ Bowl roundabout and mini basket swing.

Testimonial

“We were delighted to be working with Wicksteed to deliver the Newry Mourne and Down Council play strategy, it has been a pleasure from the moment we engaged in the designing, constructing and delivering of these projects. We would like to thank Wicksteed staff who took the brief and delivered a fantastic park at The Bridge Centre that the Council are proud to have in their area. It will be a real asset, that local families and visitors to the Killyleagh area will enjoy for years to come. There is a plethora of play opportunities for all ages and abilities, including some exciting electronic play and a wealth of fun themed equipment such as Castles and Boats. “
