SAiGE Contemporary composite decking is an environmentally-friendly alternative to conventional timber decking that looks and cuts just like wood, but will not split, warp or rot. It does not need to be painted, sanded or sealed.
The decking is available in a choice of either hollow or solid board.
SAiGE Grey Coloured Longlife decking provides an attractive backdrop for crisp white or brushed steel furniture. It also works well alongside light oak and steel steel furniture, and natural planting.
Hollow board contemporary decking is suitable for residential use, but due to its thicker wall structures it can also be used for light commercial projects. It is available in three finishes in 3.6m lengths, 143mm wide and 23mm thick. For residential applications, the decking is ideal as a timber decking alternative for balconies, outside dining areas, gardens, swimming pool surrounds and hot tub areas.
Solid composite decking from SAiGE can be used for commercial and marine environments. This hard-wearing decking is available in standard 3.6m lengths and is typically specified for marinas, wharfs, for which its anti-slip and water-resistant properties are well suited. Solid decking can also be used in conjunction with garden decking for making steps and as a solid border or trim.
The decking is easy to install, with no specialist tools required. A hidden fixing system is used to create a safe, attractive finish.
SAiGE Longlife composite decking does not require painting, sanding or sealing. It is heat-resistant and will not rot, split or warp. It is unaffected by woodworm, termites and insects, and is much more resistant to fungi and mould growth compared to conventional timber decking. It has a low water absorption rate of approximately 0.5%, compared to wood which can be up to 100%.
