Welded estate railings manufactured by Alpha Rail have been installed at a new residential housing development in Derbyshire called Deer Park.
Located in what was known as the Butterley Estate, Deer Park is an entirely private housing development built on a former medieval hunting park.
Ideally located, equidistant to both Nottingham and Derby via the A38 and the M1 road networks, Deer Park is situated near Ripley in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside.
The new development comprises of 30 three- and four-bedroom, semi-detached homes. The development will offer home buyers the best of both worlds, carefully combining modern living with traditional features.
In keeping with the traditional features, main contractor BW Homes and Construction Ltd contacted Alpha Rail to manufacture, supply and install 228 linear metres of 1200mm-high welded estate rail which was galvanised and powder-coated Black RAL 9005.
The estate railing was installed to the exterior of the newly built homes to provide a perimeter boundary in keeping with the desire to maintain traditional features.
Commenting on the project on behalf of BW Homes and Construction Ltd, Quantity Surveyor James Hassan said: “At Deer Park, we’ve designed a collection of beautiful houses to suit a range of buyers, from professional couples to growing families and downsizers. Built on a site dating back to Medieval times, we were keen to retain some traditional features and the estate railing Alpha Rail has installed for us, has helped us stick to that brief perfectly.”
Phil Ball, Sales Director at Alpha Rail added: “Alpha Rail has a great reputation for installing metal railings on housing development projects right across the UK. This particular project demonstrated our versatility in being able to manufacture a number of bespoke metalwork products that have helped meet the contractors design specifications.”
