Belgian Blue limestone is a sedimentary, durable limestone containing fossilized crinoids, a type of sea creature.
Fossils, white patches, and black and white veins all contribute to its natural character and charm. The stone's surface becomes more and more beautiful as it ages, gaining an incomparable patina.
The stone may reveal colours ranging from light grey to deep black depending on how it is finished. The choice of finish will be made depending on the appearance desired and, above all, the purpose for which it will be used, since certain more delicate finishes are only suitable for interior applications.
