We are delighted to be able to sponsor our contemporary RailRoad Edge bench to garden designers, Pro Gardens for their New York High Line inspired show garden ‘The Low Line’. The garden will feature at this year’s Malvern Spring Festival taking place on 5th - 8th May 2016.
Their exhibit is inspired by the creative and much-admired designs of Piet Oudolf in New York. Oudolf was commissioned to design a garden for the High Line in Manhattan. The High Line is an unusual urban garden on an abandoned elevated railway built during the industrial revolution in the middle of New York.
The RHS Malvern Spring Festival is a highlight of the gardening year, it’s one of the first big shows of the season and attracts over 90,000 visitors who flock to see the wonderful show gardens, all set off against the backdrop of the Malvern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Pro gardens show garden will feature a RailRoad bench. Jamie Langlands designer at Pro gardens Ltd says “The RailRoad bench from Furnitubes is a perfect match for our show garden at Malvern with the bench timbers matching the adjacent fencing of the garden.”
It will be the perfect place to rest a while amongst the tranquillity of the planting, and soothed by the movement and sound of the freestanding water feature that is the focal point of the design.
We would like to wish Pro Gardens well at the Malvern Show. We were delighted to provide sponsorship for this stunning garden because the exhibit complements our own ethos of combining traditional skills and high standards, with a contemporary and innovative approach to design.
The RailRoad range, is the latest addition to the SmartSpace Collection. Designed by our own in-house team, it is the ultimate in elegant, modern seating design. Inspired by model train tracks, RailRoad is based on a simple series of interchangeable straight and curved modules, designed to be joined to create seamless runs of continuous seating.
Please contact us if you would like to know more about the RailRoad seats, benches and planters, or any of our other ranges. Our team love to talk to garden designers and landscape architects at an early stage in their planning, and are on hand to advise on the most appropriate ranges and items to complete your schemes.
