The Flower Tower is a three-storey structure that spans school playgrounds on two different levels.

The lower level replaced some tired sheds and provides storage for playground scooters, bikes and  toys. The second level is accessed via a different playground garden and acts as the potting shed and tool store. A stairway leads to the top level reading room.

The structure has a Douglas Fir frame with mortice and tennon joints, and steel feet connecting it to concrete footings. It is clad in OSB and finished with larch feather-edged boards. The flower pattern and window details are routed into the surface / cut out.
