Chestnut Tree House is a children's hospice in Arundel, West Sussex. Greenfingers Charity, who specialise in gardens for children's hospices, contacted Chris Nangle Furniture to see if the company would like to get involved with the woodland walk, which was being designed by Ann Marie Powell Gardens for this particular hospice.
Chris Nangle Furniture manufactured two 3m moongates in sweet chestnut, which provide the frame for an impressive brushwood tunnel for the walk to pass under.
Prior to work starting the site was an inaccessible woodland. It has now been transformed into an inspirational woodland walk that is accessible to all the children who use the hospice.
The garden is a great addition to the hospice, and will allow children and families to spend precious time together in the fresh air.
