About the project
Wadswick Green continuing care retirement community was developed on the site of the derelict Royal Arthur Park naval training base in Wilstshire.
The objective was to create a modern environment with open plan living, dining and cooking spaces. The double aspect floor to ceiling windows give fabulous views across the surrounding countryside and courtyards. Residents’ facilities include a clubhouse, medical centre, bowling green, pool and spa.
Work undertaken
Inturf's Classic Turf was specified for the lawn area, laid on a fibresand sub-base.
Classic Turf's very fine leaved turfgrass blends create a durable and versatile grassed surface, with a high sward density and cleanness of cut, fast establishment with superior tensile strength, and high drought and wear tolerance.
Classic Turf is suitable for most turfgrass applications including commercial landscapes and domestic lawns.
