This floating display fountain is located at the southern end of the lake close to the steps near Astley Hall. The fountain is fitted with a candelabra-type nozzle to give a maximum water jet height of 5.8m and maximum diameter of 11.5m. It provides an interesting visual display for visitors to the hall and grounds.
In the evening time when the light levels drop the jet can be illuminated via its onboard white lights which are controlled via a timer.
The fountain also provides aeration, to encourage healthy aerobic bacterial activity within the lake.
