As part of a wider new build property on a building plot, this project involved the setting out and construction of a new garden, where a one-acre walled garden stood.
The garden was designed by Chameleon Gardens to complement the architecture, which features curved Yorkstone terraces that are stepped down to follow the lie of the land.
Extensive ornamental planting included 280 different varieties of plants (107 different shrubs, 118 perennials, 29 climbers, 15 bulbs, 11 grasses) together with tree and hedge planting.
- Construction of gravel and bark paths with timber board edging.
- Installation of garden lighting and irrigation to raised beds and planters.
- Establishment of new lawns – both seeded and turfed.
- Wild flower beds.
- Ornamental planting.
- Manilla ropes to pergolas for mixed climbing plants including Wisteria.
