As a BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered company, Wicksteed has a total quality control management system, which assures customers of the highest standard of raw materials, manufacture and installation of the companys products.
• Installation service
Wicksteed has a nationwide installation service using experienced personnel trained in the appropriate British and European safety standards.
• Playground inspection
Wicksteed employs Inspection Engineers who are members of the Register of Play Inspectors International Limited (RPII). These Inspectors can check playground equipment and submit a written report with recommendations for any necessary maintenance or remedial work.
• Risk assessments / DDA audits
A risk assessment and DDA audit service is available to help playground operators fulfil the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 and comply with Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act.
• Playground maintenace
Playground operators have a responsibility to the public to keep their play area in a safe condition.
Wicksteed has produced A Guide to the Inspection and Maintenance of Childrens Play Areas, which is intended to help operators understand the standard of safety required and to assist in meeting obligations.
