Clear Water Revival specialises in the design and build of natural swimming pools.
- Bespoke outdoor pools (based on the five pool types detailed below)
- Bespoke indoor pools
- Kit systems
CWR’s swimming pools are chlorine and salt free, and harness natures processes with micro-organisms and plants to balance the water chemistry and maintain clean, clear and hygienic conditions all year round.
An innovative natural filtration system is designed to suit the project - the volume of filtration materials and the flow rates are specific to each installation. The two-cycle Aquaviva filtration system uses the principles of reedbeds and biological water treatment, as well as natural filtration materials to maintain clean and clear water.
• Classic Type 1 pools
These pools are typically installed in more formal areas for clients that require the highest levels of cleanliness and convenience. They can be used for chemical pool conversion and are also suitable for indoor installation. They do not include a planted zone, leaving 100% of the space available for swimming.
The system is designed for convenience and ease of maintenance. It does not make use of any chemical treatments and allows clients to remove the need for chlorine or UV systems. Prices range from £60,000 to £250,000 (inc. heating system) depending on design, cover and building.
• Freeform Type 2 pools
These pools range in size from 50-100m2, making them more suited to larger garden areas. They combine the convenience of conventional pools with the design effect of natural pools, using planted zones over 5-15% of the area.
Freeform pools have a biological filter that operates without influence from the aquatic plants, keeping maintenance to a minimum apart from an annual servicing charge. Prices range from £50,000 to £120,000 depending on sizes and material choice.
• Classic Planted Type 3 pools
These pools have a clean architectural design that incorporates a 15–25% natural zone in a separate planted filter. They are ideal for smaller-scale projects that require a sophisticated design, as well enabling the conversion of chemical pools. They range in size from 25–70m2. Prices start from £50,000 to £120,000 depending on size and material choice.
• Compact Planted Type 4 pools
These pools are designed for use in gardens with restricted space. They typically have a 30–50% planted zone that enhances the natural wildlife and the surrounding area. They range in size from 15–50m2. The smaller size minimises maintenance requirements. Prices range from £15,000 to 30,000 depending on size and material choice.
• Freeform Planted Type 5 pools
These are designed for large garden areas. They feature a 40–60% planted zone that creates and impressive natural pool area with close contact to flora and fauna as well as retaining a large 40–60% swim zone. Water features and streams can also be incorporated into the design.
Sizes range from 60-200m2. Maintenance requirements will vary depending on the complexity of the design and the size of the planted areas. Prices range from £50,000 to £120,000 depending on size and material choice.
